Vince Coates Art Sale Fundraiser to benefit Hospice of Frederick County and Camp Jamie
Sunday, June 4, 4-7PM
Before he passed away in October 2015, local artist Vince Coates asked his family to hold a fundraiser for Hospice using his artwork and poetry. This event will feature many of Vince’s works for sale—probably for the last time—including original paintings and watercolors, prints, photographs, cards, books of poetry, and more, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Hospice and its annual Camp Jamie for grieving children. Vince had participated as a mentor at Camp Jamie in the summer of 2015 and had begun “Swimming for Hospice” the same summer.
For those unable to attend, please consider donating to Hospice in Vince’s memory by visiting www.hospiceoffrederick.org and click on the Donate tab. Thank you!
For more information, please email Patricia Coates at email@example.com or Ilse Del Grippo at firstname.lastname@example.org
Tickets are $30 per person (plus $3.25 service fee) and includes admission, a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres. Additional beer and wine available at happy hour prices. Sorry, no refunds.

Hospice of Frederick County
Hospice of Frederick County was founded in 1980 by a group of community volunteers who wished to offer compassionate support to terminally ill patients and their families, and to those who were grieving. Hospice is not about how you die, it is about how you live. Over the years, the program has grown in size and scope, but our focus remains the same: to honor
each person's journey through illness or grief with dignified care, compassionate support and gentle guidance. Hospice of Frederick County is a non-profit organization and also a division of the Frederick Memorial Healthcare System that is Medicare-certified, licensed by the state of Maryland and accredited by the Joint Commission. Hospice of Frederick County is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Network of Maryland, and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
Camp Jamie is a special weekend experience for grieving children ages 6 to 14. This carefully designed program helps children begin to talk about their feelings related to a death of someone special, and teaches them coping skills for dealing with those feelings. Thanks to the generosity of the Frederick Community, Camp Jamie is available to the children of Frederick County at no charge.
