City Slickers Farmhouse Collaboration

E-Ventplex, Building 13

February 24, 1-6PM

Milkhouse Brewery, the first Farm Brewery in Maryland, opened in June of 2013. They specialize in using locally grown ingredients to brew classic styles with a Maryland twist. Olde Mother Brewing is a craft brewery in Frederick, MD. They opened their doors Halloween 2015 and are getting ready to move into a larger space Spring 2018. Nick and Keith have been brewing for a number of years and love to share their homegrown craft beer.

The City Slicker Sour Farmhouse is a perfect blend of the classic Farmhouse style of Milkhouse Brewery and the funky and creative side of Olde Mother Brewing, but it is much more important than that. This beer is special because it utilizes the experimental grain from the University of Maryland Agriculture Extension office. The goal with this brew is two-fold: one, to continue educating beer lovers on the importance of supporting local beer agriculture and two: to help ensure the success of the malt growing program through UMD. Come out and support your local farmers and brewers with this delicious beer!

Other great beers from both breweries will be available in addition to food trucks, cornhole games, and live music!

This is an age 21+event. Tickets are $10 plus service fee.
