Choral Arts Society of Frederick

This year the Choral Arts Society of Frederick celebrates its 74th season. This vibrant group combines members of the community who love to perform choral music, and students from Frederick Community College, both music and general studies majors. The ages of members span from 18 to 70 plus, and allow for a true partnership of experience and enthusiasm. The choir performs all genres of music. They provide opera repertoire for the Maryland Concert Opera and the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, as well as keeping a thriving concert schedule on their home stage at Frederick Community College. In the last decade, the group has formed partnerships in performance with many local groups, both instrumental and vocal, to strengthen and support the presence of arts in the community.
